Please, Please Bring Back the Old Formula!!!

So disappointed that the formula has been changed. Absolutely loved the original version of this product as it protected my skin without causing any irritation and the cover it provided was amazing but very natural and it made my skin look luminous. I received so many compliments on my skin and was asked what I was using and was happy to recommended. This new formula is so disappointing. The colour for a start is all wrong, far too heavily tinted and unnatural. It doesn’t give the cover of the original product and leaves a tacky finish. I rate Laroche Posay products very highly, but sadly in this case, I’m left wondering why they changed such a great product for the worse.

Cercavo una crema protettiva da utilizzare tutti i giorni e in farmacia mi hanno consigliato questo prodotto. L’ho applicata dopo la skincare con i prodotti Hyalu b5 ma la pelle risulta appiccicosa, lucida e tira sopratutto nella parte della fronte. Il colore è veramente troppo scuro e l’odore è sgradevole per i miei gusti.

Good everyday tinted sunscreen

I use this every day as medical treatment means my skin need factor 50 and has caused broken capillaries. It is a gentle cream, it doesn't contain silicon so I don't have that "pilling" of bits of the cream lumping as I apply it. However I am very pale and freckly-not that unusual in the UK-and it is a little dark. It makes my skin even and glow but it does look too dark. I'd like La Roche-Posay to make a paler colour, if it did it would get 5 stars.

I bought this recently because I need to wear sunscreen daily and most products make my golden-brown South Asian skin look pasty and ill. All those reviewers complaining about the tint need to realise that other skin colours than white do exist, and hardly any suncare products are marketed towards us. The colour and texture of this BB suncream works perfectly everyday for my dry, sentitive, sun-intolerant brown skin - don't change it!

I bought this thinking finally(!) a tinted moisturiser with SPF50. It's too good to be true. The consistency is watery and hard to get even coverage with. The coverage is so light all it does it add weird patches. It is also a very strange colour? I don't know anybody with this colour of skin? Perhaps it would suit someone with a sun bed orange tan, but I'm assuming they are not too bothered about SPF 50.

Very disappointed

I have been using this product for years and absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend but this new formula is not worth buying I’m so disappointed I’m olive skinned but the colour in the tint is just too orange even for me it looks terrible on. I also found it rubs off and lots of piling. I have now started looking at other brands why did they change something that was so good is beyond me

I have been using this for just over a week and I am really impressed. Easy to apply, invisible, doesn’t do that annoying thing when you end up with little flakes over your face, hydrating and nice light fragrance. I will be using this instead of my usual tinted moisturiser from now one. Your skin looks brighter and healthier without it looking like you’re wearing any makeup.

Subtle wash of colour and great SPF

Love this! I have dry pale skin and find it difficult to get an SPF that doesn't make the dry feeling worse, or opposite is to thick and greasy. This formulation is perfect, easy to blend in. Have been out in the sun and the protection is excellent. Was wary of the colour as I am pale but it blends in very well. Would definitely buy again.

I’ve used the Anthelios XL Tinted BB Cream for many years but this replacement product is absolutely awful! I’m so very disappointed as the colour is orange & even with careful application it looks streaky & uneven on your face.

This new formula is awful! Agree with others that it is tacky, doesn’t blend properly and the colour is awful. The original comfort tinted B.B. formula was excellent, great colour and good coverage and no irritation. This formula is Not an improvement. Please, Please BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA!!!

Too orange, too dark

The color of the tint is too dark and orange. I am Japanese so my skin/face color is not too light, but still, my face color looked very strange after I apply it. I liked the smell and texture though, so I hope they make more range of the color.
